The Compassion Fund, a 501 (c)(3), grew out of the desire to provide assistance and alleviate suffering of our employees and communities. The community and Signature HealthCARE employees are eligible to apply for awards if the recipients have experienced an unexpected, catastrophic event beyond their control and must be unable to meet the basic financial needs without assistance. The amount of award will be based upon the immediate need, taking into consideration the total amount of funds available.
The CEO, E. Joseph Steier, III, and VP of Spirituality Department, Dianne H. Timmering, of Signature HealthCARE recently published their first-ever spiritual book titled, My God! Our God? This book highlights the beginning of the revolution and its earliest struggles and some of the authors’ collective triumphs with the team. It is a book about the truth of a vulnerable life, a binding covenant with God for the hope of a child and the emergence of a revolution with God at the center of the workplace. The authors have donated the profits of the book to go to the Signature HealthCARE Compassion Fund.
Please join the team at Mountain City Care and Rehabilitation Center, located at Highway 421 in Johnson County, for the incredible launch of this non-profit corporation and to have your very own copy of My God! Our God? signed by the authors. RSVP to Erica Staley via 561-273-6268 or email@example.com by July 3, 2009.
