Assisting Those Affected in Haiti!

Mountain City Care & Rehabilitation Center has been diligently gathering donations for those affected by the earthquake in Haiti.  Through various efforts across the Signature family of facilities, the company has collected donations including monies, toiletries, food, and more!

Employees spearheaded numerous initiatives to help those affected in Haiti.  The home office collected numerous items including food, monies, toiletries, clinical shower devices, isolation masks and linens, protein powders, and more.

The Bridge at Rockwood, located in Rockwood, TN, raised over $225 as well as perishable food items. Surrey Place Care Center, located in Live Oak, FL, hosted bake sales which enabled the team to raise over $170.  Signature HealthCARE of Brookwood Gardens, located in Homestead, FL, and Mountain City Care & Rehabilitation Center, located in Mountain City, TN, are partnering with local churches and charities to collect donations for those affected.  Pinellas Park Care and Rehabilitation Center, located in Pinellas Park, FL, collaborated with the American Red Cross by collecting numerous donations.  These are just some of the initiatives that the Signature family of facilities doing to help those in need.

Globally, Signature HealthCARE has been driving efforts through its non-profit organization, The Compassion Fund, Inc., as well as, the Dove Coalition.  The Compassion Fund, Inc., a not for profit organization, provides assistance and alleviates suffering of Signature HealthCARE employees and the communities in which they work and live.  Donations raised by the fund will help support those directly affected by the devastation in Haiti helping to rebuild the communities.  The Dove Coalition, an interfaith grass-roots initiative comprised of Signature employees, has organized a local campaign, “Relieving the Pain through Healing Comfort”, to help provide desperately needed supplies to those affected by the devastating earthquake in Haiti.  Donated items raised by the Dove Coalition will be delivered to Missionary Flights International (MFI) that will deliver badly needed supplies to Haiti to help alleviate suffering.
